Johnny is a big ranging male with multiple field trial placements including a 1st place in a 30+ dogs Open All Age as well as hour placements.
Solo is a hard running female with both hour and half hour placements including 1st place wins in large 30+ dogs Open All Age. She is a great wild bird dog with experience on sharptail grouse, pheasant, and Hungarian partridge on the northern prairies, as well as wild bobwhite and blue quail in Texas. You can foot hunt her where she will stay around 3-400 yards on the prairie most of the time (unless she forgets you're not on a horse and goes out 1000+ yards).
Both dogs have a great off switch making them perfect family dogs and house dogs.
Puppies will be put through a puppy socialization program and come with their first round of vaccines and dewormer.
Puppies have gone home. If interested in our next litter, please complete our puppy questionnaire.
Pedigree
Johnny's Sire DC/GFC/AFC A Trace Of Bourbon With Diamonds, is an All Age field trial dog, with many impressive wins under his belt. Trace was handled by his owner Rick Hastings to Runner Up National Champion at the 2019 ABC National Gun Dog Championship. He is a total joy to be around. An easy keeper, he is happy doing whatever he is supposed to do, with whoever he’s with. You can’t help but love him for his fun and sweet demeanor.
Johnny's Dam, NGDC/DC/GFC/GCH Turning Points Shenanigans, was a bold and confident bird dog. As a juvenile, Shandi won the ABC All-Age Dog Derby Invitational in 2016. In 2019, Shandi won the National Gun Dog Championship handled by Bob Burchett and placed 2nd in the Amateur All Age handled by owner Julie Nelson. That same year she won the ABC W.E. Stevenson Sr. Memorial Dual Dog Award, and the Skye Trophy for Best Bitch at the Gun Dog National. Shandi was a sweet girl who has never met a stranger.
Solo's Sire, DC/AFC Just Call Me Lucky Ned Pepper, was an All Age field trial dog with a record of accomplishments that speak for itself. Exclusively handled by owner Frank Campbell, he placed 4th in the 2016 ABC National Amateur Field Championship, and won the 2021 Dub Emde Challenge Championship, and the 2021 GOLAA Mid-America Championship. Lucky Ned was a loved hunting companion and has had may wild birds shot over him.
Solo's Dam, TC/GCH/AFC/MACH Firestarter Born Among The Stars, is the first Brittany to achieve the Triple Champion title. From the show ring, to the field, through the agility course, Glory has shown time and time again how versatile a Brittany can be. She is a driven, sassy girl, and she passed on those traits to Solo. Once her enrichment needs are fulfilled, Glory is a behaved house companion, ruler of the house.
